Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Program

What you need to know on how the course works. 

Most courses are run on zoom, however subject to demand some are being created in person.


The course runs once a week for 8 weeks. 

It is currently being run online due to the covid situation. Each session runs for 1.5 hours and at the end of each session you are given a workbook with home practice for the following weeks with guidance, meditations and taught practises. 


The 8 week MBSR program as a starting point. 

Highly recommended by Ady, it has everything you need to give you a solid grounding in the practices of mindfulness and meditation.

The MBSR was founded by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn in 1979 with colleagues at the University of Massachusetts nearly 35 years ago, has become a widely accepted and empirically supported intervention for a variety of psychological and medical disorders.

  • Decreased unhelpful reactivity & increased helpful response flexibility. By learning the process of slowing down and the ability to read and scan the body noticing any sensations and tensions without trying to change them.
  • Interpersonal mindfulness benefits. Developing the ability to be with another, being fully in the moment, face to face with each other, noticing what reactions, feelings and thoughts arise. Developing the art of listening.
  • Mindful walking, eating, activities. Overall, a huge benefit to the body, mind and well being.
